Contest - Win a free membership
By Kerrie Mullins-Gunst
You can win free access to everything the Leadership Coaching Club offers - for as long as you wish, no more to pay ever, just by entering our contest.
This month we are celebrating our 15th business birthday! So we thought we’d have a contest - with Prizes. And we couldn’t think of a better prize than full membership of the Leadership Coaching Club - unless it was lifetime membership!
To enter, all you have to do is add a comment below telling us why you would like to be a member of the Leadership Coaching Club.
You have until the end of April to post your comment, then we will choose the best post as winner.
Your reason for wanting to be a member can be as short or as long as you want it to be. Tell us about the difference being a better leader would make to your life and your work, or what you like about the thought of joining an online leadership program, or why what you do as a leader is so important or how it might help you.
Your reason doesn’t have to be long, detailed or profound. Just a quick comment will do. Tell us why you should be the lucky one to win.
Heck, if you can’t think of any other reason, just wish us a happy birthday.
The winners will receive free membership to all the benefits of full membership of the Leadership Coaching Club for as long as they wish to remain a member - that’s free Lifetime Membership!
The winners will be announced here after the contest closes.Don’t delay. Enter now by posting your comment below.
Edit!
Only one prize doesn’t seem like much of a birthday party! How about we make it TWO free memberships and find a free gift for everyone else who adds a comment?
Does that sound better?OK. Add your comment below. Tell us why you want to be a member now.

Hi John
How did you sneak in here. This wasn’t even meant to show until tomorrow.
Everyone knows my business birthday is on April 1st. Oh well. It’s good to start celebrating a little early!

I have been receiving your emails for approx three years now and without a doubt always learn something new.
In fact, I refer to a couple of your check lists for event planning on a regular basis. Great stuff Kerry …no surprise at all to learn you are celebrating fifteen years in business. Kudos girl!

The old expression that leaders are born, is untrue.
Leadership and the associated management skills can be taught by others, learnt by individuals and displayed by those with the skills & knowledge.
Leaders dont ask, if they are a leader - they know when others follow. Steve Young 2008.

Hi Steve
Thanks for your thoughts. I definitely agree that leadership can be learned.
And the best leaders and managers are keen to improve their leadership and management skills…

In this day of business competition to be global and the best, change is so necessary and yet is feared by so many. I know I look for leadership to be the important guiding light to guide us through all the changes. As long as business continuously changes, we, as leaders, need to continuously improve to guide those that deliver the results. The coaching you and the club have provided has been an invaluable resource that helps us to focus our energies to improving.
Happy Birthday and many thanks, Jeanne

As a laughter therapy practioner who spreads the ‘happidemic’ of laughter by speaking at conferences and training other people to run laughter programs in their workplace or laughter clubs in the community, your leadership tips I’ve received over the years have been invaluable.
The Leadership Coaching Club looks great! You wrote elsewhere on this web site that ‘Leadership is the process of delivering results through the efforts of other people’. I’m sure by being a member of the Leadership Coaching Club it will help me to pass on the benefits of laughter through the people I lead .

Thanks Jeanne
It’s always a pleasure working with people who embrace change for improvement.
And through the Leadership Coaching Club (and the Leadership Skill Center) that’s what I am privileged to be able to do.

Thanks Phillipa
As you’ve probably heard me say many times, all good leaders have a positive attitude - which is why the work you do is so helpful.

I have been receiving your emails for about a year now. As a reader from overseas, I always enjoy and learn from the topics presented and the sage advice from others. As an individual who has in the not too distant past started a position where I now am supervising many others, I feel on a daily basis that I have been thrust into a leadership role with little training. I think that the leadership coaching club is a great idea and I would love to be able to use it’s advice and thoughts to augment my own leadership and supervisory practices. I would be a good investment!

Thank you Ala-Binte
We already have had people join the Leadership Coaching Club from three continents. It would be great to have leaders from Africa also.

It’s really blessed for me when I read your article and your hard works. You help me to help others through my website. You are blessing my country, Indonesia (maybe you must look for my country in the map). Thanks for your love, your kindness and happy birthday.
You allways be blessed for other people. God Bless Us

Thanks for your kind words Christopher and Libe.
Libe I know well where Indonesia is, having visited your lovely country some years ago. I am sure your website is also helping others.

I’ve seen many people take leadership roles in my organization but they’re really only managers who don’t really inspire others or offer leadership. I’d like to know for myself what the difference is so that if I’m called to provide some leadership I don’t just try to manage.

If you can see that there is a distinction between leadership and management you are well on the way to being an effective leader.
You may enjoy reading an article on this topic we wrote a while back: http://leadershipskillcenter.com/180art/leader-role.html
Thanks for entering our competition.

Greetings Kerrie -
LCC is a refreshing resource that is on tap 24/7 with a wide range of practical resources for our business and our clients.
We would like to continue being a member as we have found good value already and we would like to share your ideas, methods, suggestions and approach with companies looking to export in the EC network. ExpatriateConnect(EC) focuses on assisting export motivated Australian companies as Australia is suffering from a low base of companies exporting (<5%). Our aim is to share insights and encourage Australian companies to become apart of the LCC community.
Thanks in advance,
Scott
